Almost a decade ago, Emily Pratt made the bold choice to go from Stylist to Salon Owner by purchasing the Sopra Salon from its original owner—and has since then partnered with MD Lauren Bessey to re-invent and grow the business that has since then exceeded either of their visions. One can expect a fully curated experience upon visiting Sopra Salon & Med Haus—complete with a listening ear, treatment specialized to their needs, and a warm welcome from the moment they walk through the door.
Around 4 years ago, Emily and Lauren came up with the idea to add med spa services to Sopra’s repertoire. These services include (but aren’t limited to) laser treatments, microneedling, and filler, with their most popular services being neurotoxins (Botox) as well as medical weight loss and wellness. Their original vision was to add on these niche services to the salon to supplement the already generous menu of services. However, the interest and demand for these specialized services quickly grew, increasing the necessity for more space and service providers.
The idea that had originally began with one treatment room rapidly expanded to 5 treatment rooms, 13 service providers, and a new name—The Med Haus. After carefully considering how to hire and train, it was decided upon to hire Nurse Practitioners as injectors. Later this year, the Med Haus will be moving into its very own building. This will allow for more space for the existing team and services, as well as room for expansion! This will be located just two doors down from the existing location, expected to have a soft opening in the fall.
